The table is made of five matching quarter sawn white oak boards. The straw color was achieved by briefly exposing the table to ammonia fumes, which causes the tanic acid in the wood to darken. The table features two end leaves that store within the table when not is use. The table with the leaves attach is just under 10’ long and seats 12 people..
